還記得電影「偷情」(closer)裡面的主題曲嗎?

當時那個極憂愁又具渲染力的聲音，讓我認識了Damien Rice(戴米恩)。

戴米恩是愛爾蘭人，從小就對音樂與繪畫有著濃厚的興趣。曾在歐洲當過街頭藝人，後來受到製作人兼電影配樂大師David Arnold賞識。2002年發行個人專輯『O』(也就是收錄偷情主題曲的那一張啦)。



最近得知他於去年底出了第二專輯「9」，便趕快去買來聽聽。果真，又是一張傑作。在博客來上面有相關的簡介。博客來的價格是409元，無折扣。在台北車站的光南也是409元，不過中壢光南卻只要398元。而我是在漢口街一間個人經營的唱片行買的(忘了名字了...)只要389元，大概是95折。



本專輯的第一首歌「9 Crimes」(有人譯為"九罪宗。)某個樂評寫的好：Damien Rice擅用鋼琴、木吉他、大提琴，在極為淡然的音樂中構造出濃郁的憂愁。音樂仿佛從某個遙遠的地方娓娓而至，時而接近，時而遠離；猶如置身於冰冷的海底深處，沉重卻溫暖。「9 Crimes」這首曲子能在第一時間就讓你陷入沉淪，極富Damien Rice苦情風味的鋼琴旋律，先引出的是Hannigan氣若遊絲的悲戚嗓音，然後第2段才響起Rice那隱忍而磁性的聲音。 兩個人的聲音彼此纏繞的上升，弦樂將整首歌推向高潮。
